Off to a stellar start at stud, ECTON PARK himself earned more than $1.5 million on the racetrack. A tough campaigner from the ages of two to five, ECTON PARK broke his maiden as a juvenile and captured the Super Derby-G1, Jim Dandy S.-G2 (by 5 1/4 lengths), and Risen Star S. at three. He romped by 8 1/4 lengths in the William Donald Schaefer H. at four and placed in such high-class races as the Pacific Classic-G1 and Stephen Foster-G2. ECTON PARK never backed down from a challenge, winning or placing in 11 stakes (nine graded) from coast to coast.

ECTON PARK is by the Mr. Prospector son Forty Niner, who is quickly becoming recognized as a potent sire of sires, and is out of the Danzig mare Daring Danzig, who also produced another millionaire and group winner.
